Brushing Teeth Daily – Just like us! This is the best form of dental hygiene. Pet toothbrushes and toothpaste are now available. Please do not use human toothpaste formulas as they are not designed to be swallowed and may be toxic to your pet.
Teeth Friendly Chews and Toys – Use dental toys, enzymatic chews, or teeth cleaning biscuits, all of which may help keep the teeth clean.
Special Dental Diets & Water Additive – Feed pets special dental diets. This can help reduce the accumulation of tartar.

Dr Carole is our trusted home vet, so it was an automatic decision to attend the Ulysses vet Clinic where Dr Carole is based when our beloved elderly dog had to have an operation on his ear. Surprise, surprise: not only is the clinic in an easy-to-find location with adequate parking, but the Ulysses team are truly tops, showing genuine love, care and understanding to their patients and their human companions. After our elderly dog's operation, we were explained the medical condition and aftercare treatment in a way I understood. To top it off, the vets wisely decided that my boy didn't need the unnecessary vaccination he'd been given previously, and they explained why. This proved, without a doubt, that for the first time in years and years, I'd found a Vet Clinic that was in for the health of their patients, not for the money. Then I received the bill. It was about half the price I expected to pay. And my dog's recovery after surgery? Fantastic, absolutely fabulous. Thank you, Ulysses Vet Clinic. You are much appreciated.
